Summary: When Rin gets angry, he boils. When Yukio gets angry, he freezes.
A/N: I wrote this at three in the morning. No idea what was going through my head then, but here you go. A product of a current insomniac.
I do not own Ao no Exorcist, nor have I ever. I don't really want to, either, since the storyline's so good and my plotlines are quite bad. Oh, and for some reason the line break button has disappeared... so...
When Rin got angry (which was a fairly common occurrence), he showed it. Scowl, fire in his eyes, literal flames bursting out of him.
He boiled with anger, with passion, with emotion. When that happened, his opponent was fucked.
The blue of the flames and the sudden blue glow of his eyes was more than enough to classify him as "the son of Satan".
They saw him as nothing more than a demon. A potential threat if he turned traitor.
But there was another one. Another son.
Yukio was always calm, collected, cool-headed. The intelligent one. The rational one. The emotionless one.
He never got mad. Ever.
When he did (and Rin only remembers once, one time when his precious otouto got truly angry), his face stayed smooth and emotionless. Only his eyes, those glowing blue-green orbs, blazed with cold anger.
He didn't boil. He froze. His anger was cold and frozen, a hard ball of chilly flame, tightly controlled, blazing inside of him.
They whispered that Rin was the demon, with his short temper and demonic outlook. They didn't know about Yukio, who was "the human one" and "Okumura-sensei".
It was better that way.
