14 year old Mycroft glanced over his shoulder to see his 6 year old brother, Sherlock playing with pirate action figures. He scowled then walked over to the curly haired boy, "toys are for babies, Sherlock." He sighed. The younger boy blushed as his lip twitched with anger. "I'm not a baby!" He insisted.

"Then go and do something productive."

Sherlock rose from his feet, his lips starting to pout. He took a deep breath then slowly left the room trying to obtain a face of calm. Mycroft thought that doing 'Kid things' was a waste of precious time. People needed to use their minds more.

The curly haired boy stomped upstairs and slumped on his bed, "his brother was bossy and wrong" he thought. He slowly glanced down at his pirate skull T-shirt with his sharp bluey-grey eyes , was he really a baby? He stared at his room covered in posters of famous pirates, Mycroft' s walls were plastered with plans for chemistry experiments and the periodic table. Was Sherlock' s room wrong? The slim boy headed towards the bathroom and stared straight into the mirror, he started to tear up, he was a baby!

The boy's thoughts were interrupted by the dainty sounds of a piano. Wiping his eyes with a tissue he tiptoed downstairs, the sounds were coming from the study. He gingerly lifted his tender hand and turned the door handle, it slowly creaked open. The piano stopped. "Hello deary." It was mummy. Sherlock' s mouth curled into a slight smile as he greeted his mother with confusion. "Mummy, I thought you were at work."

"I took the day off to come home and see my two little munchkins." She smiled and ruffled Sherlock' s thick black curls. The young boy frowned " I'm not a munchkin!" He protested. Mrs Holmes ignored her son and sat him upon her lap. She lifted her hands and slowly started to play the grand piano. The soothing sounds of the song swirled delicately around the room and into Sherlock' s small ears. His eyes started to droop as he drifted of into a world of sweet dreams. He felt his mother's soft lips touch his forehead, he really was a baby and he liked it.
