A.N: This is set around season 6, just after JJ left. This is a bit experimental, seeing as I've never written any Criminal Minds stuff before, so I'm not sure how good the quality of this will be. Seeing as I only have a rough idea of the plot, I don't know what's going to happen. Anyway, enjoy!
PHILLIP'S RESIDENCE – SUNDAY 9th APRIL
The room went to darkness as the curtains were closed and the lights were turned off in the bedroom of a 15 year old girl. "Goodnight Lucy," the young girl's mother smiled slightly at the peaceful sight of her daughter silent and dreaming. With one last glance at her daughter, Lucy's mum left as quietly as possible to avoid Lucy awakening. Little did she know that that glance would be the last time she saw her daughter alive.QUANTICO – TUESDAY 11th APRIL
Aaron Hotchner entered the meeting room as soon as he arrived at Quantico. With JJ gone and their team being understaffed, Hotch had decided to take the responsibility of briefing his team, seeing as he had been the first to receive the case. He strolled into the room and swiftly handed each of his agents a FBI case file. He didn't even sit down before he began talking.
"We're going to Las Angeles." He said.
"What?" Agent Derek Morgan said in surprise. "Just like that? No briefing?"
"We're going to properly brief this on the jet." Hotch replied. He picked up a small silver controller and pointed it at the screen in front of his team's round table. Three teenage girl's images popped up onto the screen. "Allanah McCartin, Janet Greene and Jessica Percival. All three girls were reported missing on Mondays by their families, and all were found on the following Friday dead." Hotch pressed another button and another three images appeared on the screen. Even Agent Rossi had to look away from the picture when he saw it.
"That's horrific." Agent Emily Prentiss said, turning her head to one side to prevent seeing the three dead girls, whose bodies were in such a disgusting, unnatural state that the strongest, smartest minds in the world had their stomachs churning with the horrid feeling of sickness.
"Why weren't we told about this sooner?" Spencer Reid asked curiously.
"Authorities thought that this was just a sick prank, and by the time they realized, another girl went missing. We have until Friday to find her."
Please review! The sooner you do, the sooner you'll find out how horrific the crime is!
