At ten and four to nine

On the day the sun ceased to shine.

The sky was still blue

But, the ground turning red.

The men who stand before,

And, the men who stand behind.

Betrayal only once seen, there

But, they thought, never here.

Never,

Never,

Never,

Never before on citizen soil.

Never again filled with innocent toil.

Never Again, Never Forget.

"911"

Ten years from,

Ten years since,

America home of the brave lost its innocence.

With what resembled the Blitz

Even though it was surely worse than this.

Goodbye to the towers

Goodbye to the brothers.

For what we released is like no other.

Beware the war on terror.

With the creator of terror

Dead in his grave

America gave a sigh of relief.

With the destruction of two

Out came one

For heart and souls of Americans were once close but divided

However thanks to 911 we all stand united.

That is the silver lining; we all stand united for we will

"Never forget."

For as that day all around the world,

As said by a woman of the French,

"Today we are all Americans."
