Hey Guys(: So, I started writing these little one shots in the beginning of the first season...like, literally the night the Suits came out. Haha, anyways, they were used to break writer's block during my last story and I figured I might as well post 'em up. So, Enjoy! Review please!
Title :: Number One - Falling In Love.
Disclaimer :: I don't own the Suits boys.
Summary :: Harvey thinks about his and Mike's relationship. Non-explicit Slash. First installment of the Happiness Is :: One-Shot Series.
Series; Happiness Is (One-Shots).
Harvey couldn't quite pinpoint the exact second it had happened, but when it did, he could easily tell it had.
Maybe it was watching from the other side of the table in his office as quick, lightning-fast, beautiful, blue eyes scanned across case files and court documents, memorizing the printed information easily. Or maybe it was watching from the other side of the bed in his condo as those same eyes slowly drifted closed, exhausted from a long day of work.
It could have been that first day they met, first case, first client brought in, or first kiss. Harvey didn't even know what it was when it first hit him but, he knew it was something - something important, something he couldn't ignore for long...even if he wanted to try to.
As the smaller blonde - pajamas consisting of boxers and Harvey's too-big-for-him Harvard Law t-shirt - climbed under the covers beside him and snuggled close into Harvey's side, the lawyer let out a contented sigh. He felt good, better than ever really - regardless of how cliche it sounded. His love glanced up with a smile as he was wrapped up into the safety of Harvey's arms. The older man smiled back, earning a smooth glide of soft lips over his own. The gentle goodnight kiss only lasted a few seconds, still managing to shake is heart, before the younger man pulled away with another small smile.
After a whisper of 'sweet dreams' and another sweet kiss he fell softly back into Harvey's chest with closed eyes. Harvey kissed the top of his head, whispering "I love you," against blonde locks. He felt the smile against him as the other man's body seemed to cuddle closer.
"I love you, too."
He could feel the breath of those words on his chest and it made him smile.
As he listened to the blonde's breathing even out and felt the smaller body relax against his own, Harvey couldn't quite pinpoint the exact second it happened, but when it did, he could easily tell it had. Falling in love with Mike Ross was possibly - no, definitely - the greatest thing that had happened, by a long shot.
Yup. Fluffy, I know, but there's the first One-shot. I hope you liked it and I have a few more done, and intend on writing more. Review! (:
