Disclaimer: I do not own Bleach or any related characters. Wow, I'm actually writing a Bleach fic. Yay! I think. Well, tell me what you think. Sweet Rukia/Urahara for ya'll.

Rukia/Urahara

"What can I get one of my best customers," Urahara asked as soon as Rukia walked in. She was surprised at how quiet the shop was. Normally it was always bustling, with the children running around and beating each other up. Urahara saw her hesitation and smiled his strange, odd smile. The one that made her insides turn to jelly. Not that she would admit it. No way. "I sent the others to the beach. They needed a break."

"Oh," Rukia nodded and turned back to looking around the shop. Urahara watched with amusement. She had never answered his first question. And there was no way that she would, either. She would look around, pick something out (she wouldn't really need it), and be on her way, completely satisfied. Strange, her obsession with the shopkeeper was becoming. It was making her spend money she didn't even have, just to get a look at his angel-like face under that green and white striped hat.

"Are you looking for anything in particular," he persisted, his smile growing. Looking at him, she shook her head, and then went on searching, acting as though it were the most important task she had ever done. It was best to avoid any questions.

Finally, she gave up trying to look busy and headed towards the counter. If she asked him a question, she would be closer to him. Not that she wanted to be closer to him in any way. "Bunnies. Find me something with rabbits."

Although she couldn't see his eyebrows, she knew that they were raised, "Rabbits it is." He scoured the shelves, giving Rukia all the time that she wanted to stare at him. No… she only glanced. She had too much dignity to outright stare at him. "We have some gum with rabbits on the side?" He looked towards her.

"That's fine… does it have any side affects?" She did not want to have Shinigami gum. Sometimes bad things happened with that stuff.

"Nope, it's just regular, normal, 100 percent OK gum." She didn't believe him, but she bought it anyway and popped a piece into her mouth. It was good, like cotton candy or something sweet. But it had a strange tinge to it.

"Are you sure that this gum is OK," she asked. For some reason she was moving slower than she normally would.

Urahara smirked and leaned down, so close to her face that if she wanted to, she could lift her head just a little and kiss him, "It's completely normal…" Instead of her kissing him, he ended up pressing his lips against hers in a sweet, slow kiss. If she were able to move, she would have fainted. She had to settle for blushing, although it wasn't her thing. Rukia did not blush. "Except for the fact that it slows down your reaction time. Sorry, Rukia, didn't want you to hit me when I kissed you." His smirk deepened and he started humming as he walked towards the back room.

"Hey… what… about… me," she called to him. There was no answer. "Hey!… Urahara…" 'Oh no…'
