The last thing Ginoza remembered was arguing with his father. When he returned to his senses, he was greeted with an immense weight crushing his left arm, pinning him to the ground.

"Nobuchika!" he heard a gruff voice - his father's - call. Within seconds, Masaoka ran into view. "Hang on!" The older man was about to attempt to lift the large crate off of his son's arm when he was interrupted.

"Behind you!" the younger man warned.

He turned around to see a figure standing several feet away, pointing a nail gun at him. Shit, Makishima...!

Makishima fired a couple of nails at the Enforcer, who used his artificial arm as a shield while he rushed towards the white-haired man. Masaoka swung the baton he had in his other hand, making contact with the nail gun and causing a burst of electricity. Makishima jumped back, pulling a nunchuk out of his pocket. The two engaged in combat as Ginoza watched helplessly from beneath the rubble. "Shit..." he hissed, gritting his teeth. The pain in his arm was overwhelming. The bones had to be completely crushed...there was no way he could use it again. He was going to end up with a prosthetic, just like his father - the man he tried so hard to distance himself from.

Seeing an opening, Masaoka tackled Makishima. They fell, with the older man landing on top. The younger man's head cracked against the ground. His vision blurred, and his defense weakened, but there was no way in hell he would give up. He struggled against the Enforcer's grip, eventually freeing an arm and reaching for the pipe bomb in his pocket.

Ginoza noticed the suspicious object and started to panic. "He has a bomb!" he called out desperately.

Masaoka swore and grabbed hold of Makishima's arm. Getting up, he pressed his knee into the criminal's back and yanked hard. A pop echoed through the room as the shoulder dislocated. The younger man cried out in pain, tears welling in his eyes. Masaoka quickly grabbed the bomb with his free hand and tossed it as hard as he could. Makishima swore under his breath as he heard it clatter in the distance. This couldn't possibly be happening! He actually lost!?

He started to struggle. The older man tugged on his injured arm, causing him to hiss sharply and go back to being still. Masaoka heaved a sigh of relief and looked back at his son. "We got him!" he cheered, grinning triumphantly with Makishima scowling underneath him.

"Don't celebrate too early..." Ginoza grumbled, disappointed that his father would dare jinx this. However, he gave his own sigh of relief.

It was finally over.
