James and Lily…

TOGETHER!

"Evans?" I knew that voice way to well.

"What do you want James," I asked irritably, looking up from my book. "Because whatever it is I'm sure I don't have."

"Oh but you do Lily." That prat! Will he ever leave me alone!

"For the millionth time Potter no I will never, nev… did you just call me Lily?" I looked curiously at him.

"That's your name isn't it?" James pointed to my book. "What are you reading?"

"Pride and Prejudice, what do you care?" Potter, I knew, never was interested in any thing muggle, book, or school related.

"Sheesh, Evans, I'm just trying to strike up a conversation," he raised his hands in defense.

"Sorry, you just never are this polite." Wait! Did I just apologize to James- I mean Potter, POTTER! "So Ja- Potter, why would you want to talk to me? Shouldn't you be snogging that Ravenclaw in a broom closet?" That should make him leave me alone.

"Oh you meen the pimply one with the puke brown hair you set me up with?" He pulled out the letter I'd written to him. He read aloud,

"To my dearest James,

I'm sorry for all of the things I've wronged you of. I should've realized from the very begging that we should go out. But I promise to make it up to you. Meet me in the broom closet by the prefects' women's' bathroom.

Love Always,

You know who

P.S. Tell no one! Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!"

"I've never seen that letter in all of my life. I have no idea who the girl that wrote it is, but she obviously fancies you," I stated innocently.

"I know it was you Evans! Listen up..." He leaned in, hands on either arm of the chair I was in, a bit to close I mite add. His breath was warm on my face, smelling of peppermint. (I love peppermint.) It set a tingle down my spine. His hazel eyes starred mesmerizingly at me, his soft lips moving slowly. Man, there're soft! I wonder what they would- Bad Lily!! Do not even think of kissing him! But…"Lily, are you listening to me?!"

I couldn't stand it any longer! "James." I grabbed his neck and smashed his lips to mine. At first he was startled, and then he realized what was happening. He rapped his arms around me pulling me out of my chair and closer to him. We moved are lips in together deepening the kiss. Seven years of longing came out in one amazing kiss. We pulled apart gasping for breath.

"Did you just call me James," he asked smugly.

"Shut up," I said slapping him half heartedly and pulled him in for another kiss.
