Disclaimer: I don't own Drop Dead Diva

Grayson was still reeling about Jane being Deb. He didn't know how to react. He knew all of the options didn't make sense. It would be reasonable to get mad at her. She kept a major secret from him. But it was Deb. How could he get mad at Deb? He never even thought about that before this but how could he just let this go on.

A knock on the door was heard. Stacy came in.

"Grayson," she said, "Can I come in?"

"You're supposed to ask that before you come in," Grayson said with a slight chuckle, "Sit down."

Stacy sat down nervously.

"Grayson," she said, "It's my fault in a way. I should have told you who Jane was."

"Stacy," Grayson said, "I-"

"No. I was afraid of that happening. I didn't know how you'd react. I thought she should wait. I didn't know how this would play out."

Grayson knew exactly what Stacy was doing. She was taking the fall for Deb.

"Look," Stacy said, "I'm respons-"

"Stacy," Grayson said, "You are responsible but not for what happened. You are responsible. You're kind. You're an amazing friend to Deb... Jane- I don't even know what to call her anymore."

"Grayson Deb is Deb. Her soul is in Jane's body but she is Deb. You can't seperate her from herself. You have to accept her for who she is."

Grayson ran a hand through his hair.

"So I should just totally let it go," he asked.

"Grayson this is something you should be grateful about. You got Deb back. It doesn't matter what she looks like. She is Deb."

"Do you REALLY think this is about what she looks like? I didn't fall in love with what she looked like. I fell in love with her. But I don't know what she... who she is now."

"She's the best of both Deb and Jane," Stacy said.
