The sun rose above the capital city of Bargsburg. The mists scattered and ran at the call of the wind, showing Veloren, the angel of death, without a head. Three and a half of the remaining seven holy ghosts were consumed by Veloren. Ayanami, or Veloren's reincarnation on earth, mercilessly slaughtered millions in search of his beloved Eve. Teito, the holder of the eye of Mikhail and Ouka, the holder of the eye of Raphael were in a deep sleep due to the brainwashing of Ayanami. Zehel, a ghost was consumed by the Scythe of Veloren. Landkarte and Ea fought to the death, leaving Ea dead and Landkarte trapped in the Book of Hades. Relikt lost his sense of direction(As he always does) and is easily lead into Ayanami's trap.
With his pieces set and himself fully revived, Veloren then declared war against the nations of mankind. The nation of Antwort surrendered immediately. Raggs empire was still weak and recovering from the Raggs war. Commanding the brainwashed Archangels to destroy Raggs, the disorganized army of Raggs fell apart. Even the mighty Barsburg empire fell after the bombardment of the Archangels. Soon, the casualties were too great, and the Barsburg empire was forced to surrender.
Then, Veloren consumed every living creature on the planet, peering into each's person's heart, looking for Eve's soul. Eventually, he wiped everyone off the planet besides his own comraders, the Kor. He then waged open war against the Chief of the Heavens. The Chief then challenged Veloren to a duel. The unprepared and cocky Chief that had been sitting on his throne for over a millenium. Compared to Veloren, who was a professional killer without feelings of love, the Chief toppled over easily. As his fellow Kor ripped up everything in the heavens, earth, hell, and every dimension in existence, not one soul with the reincarnation of Eve could be found. His own Kor were also killed by himself.
At last Veloren realizied. Those pierced by his scythe was to go to neither realm. The bright lights of those pure souls would go into nothingness, scatter and vanish. With guilt so great that he cannot bear, he leaned over his own scythe, and fell. And the world was empty and pure, like Landkarte had said: Pure.
