"Go to sleep." She cooed, my thoughts growing hazy at her voice. It was unimaginable that one's voice, such as her's could be so soothing, so seductive, so angelic, so alluring.
I yearned for sleep to capture me, but it seemed unwilling to arrive. She must have sensed my restlessness, for she wrapped her arms around me, her fingers dancing across my arms seductively. I could not resist her touches, and fell into her embrace, snuggling into her chest, inhaling her calming scent, but tis' alas, sleep had yet to claim me.
I felt her smirk at my antics, which made me give a slight muffled huff of indignation.
"What's so funny?" I ask, my voice muffled by her chest.
"Nothing, koi." She replies gently.
She strokes my spine in a gentle, seductive manner, as she sings a gentle lullaby in that angelic voice of her's. Her song's tone was one of neither of arrogance or hubris. Instead, it was one of gentility, but laced with a strong firmness.
"Carry my soul into the night
May the stars guide my way.
I glory in the sight
As darkness takes the day." She sang gently, still stroking my back.
"Ferte in noctem animam meam
Illustre stelle viam meam.
Aspectu illo glorior
Dum capit nox diem.
Cantate vitae canticum
Sine dolore acte
Dicite eis quos amabam
Numquam obliviscar." She continued, her hand now stroking my face.
"Sing a song, a song of life
Made without regret
Tell the ones, the ones I loved
I never will forget
I never will forget." she finished, brushing my bangs out of my eyes.
"Soi Fon." I murmur into her chest, my voice thick with fatigue.
"Yes, koi?" She asks, her hand now rubbing my back in a comforting manner.
"Will you be here when I wake up?" I murmur childishly.
"If you want me to be." She murmurs, her breath tickling my ear. I smile weakly and snuggle deeper into chest.
I feel a soft laugh build up in her chest. I look up blearily, my bangs shading my eyes somewhat.
"What?" I murmur.
"Your actions. That's all." She replies.
"Oh."
I lower my head back to her chest.
"If I'm not here when you wake, I'll be in my room. You are welcome to join me." She tells me. "But you will be here, right?" "Of course, now sleep, koi."
I nod. I finally fall for sleep's seduction as my eyes close.
The last thing I hear is, "Aishiteru, Shaolin." before darkness engulfs my vision, sleep finally claiming me.
