Hi folks, just a little poem I decided to write based on Alice in Wonderland.

What if the Mad Hatter was so sad about Alice leaving he wrote a little ditty? Lets find out!

By the way, I wrote 'Fairchild' as one word deliberately. I though Hatter could make up a pet name for Alice. Let me know what you think. Thanks!!!

Why so sad Fairchild?

You've come so wide and far,

Do you know who I am Fairchild?

Do you know where you are?

Wonderland, Fairchild

The world of dance and Dreams

We're all mad here, alone and all

And all is not it seems

Remember me Fairchild?

Remember the March Hare?

You sat, you drank, you played our games

And then you were not there

Come to me Fairchild

So I can tell you this,

Can you not smell it the air?

Do you know what it is?

It's called Death, Fairchild

It comes for everyone

And I? I run so far away

As my world becomes undone

What happened Fairchild?

Why did you leave me cold?

Without you, life cannot survive

Wonderland grows old

My dark fate Fairchild

As you grow bright and true

My sin, my shame, my life, my name

Goes mad from loving you

There, sorry if it has a few rough patches, I'm not exactly Shakespeare.

All reviews and criticism welcome! Thank you!
