May used to say and think that love at first sight wasn't real. But now, she believes in it ever since her mom told her the story how her mom and dad met.
They met in a crowded room, where they locked eyes and at that very moment, knew that they were made for each other.
And May wanted it that way, too. Well, she didn't want it to happen in a crowded room, but at the beach. She wanted it to happen at night. When the calm ocean waves become stronger and when the night breeze blows across the sand. When all the people are gone, and when the night Pokémon come out and sing.
She pictured herself sitting on a rock, the ocean breeze blowing through her face. She pictured that she was looking at the horizon, the sun setting. And then, when the sun has set, she would see the man of her dreams, walking on the sandy beach, coming her way. And they would lock eyes, and at that very moment, know that they were meant to be.
May always wanted it that way. And because she believes in love at first sight, she'll get what she want. Maybe, just maybe.
It was yet another normal day for May at school. Same everything.
As she was bidding good-bye to her friends, who were about to go home, there was a deafening clap of thunder, followed by a heavy downpour. Rain came crashing down on the pavement, and on May.
"Agh! Why now?" May wailed. She was already drenched from head to toe.
Meanwhile, Lyra and Dawn had already got a ride home, which left May alone. May ran as fast as she could to the nearest building, having happened to be a house. She put her arms over her chest as she ran.
When she finally reached the building, she reached into her school bag and got out a face towel and started drying herself. She ran a comb through her silky brown hair and smoothed out her clothes. She then rose up, then knocked on the door.
No answer.
She knocked again. She heard footsteps coming down the stairs, and then felt them getting closer. The footsteps stopped, and the door opened to reveal..
Small cliff hanger! :P Soo.. who will answer the door? Find out in the next chappie! Oh, sorry for the short chapter guys! XD I wanted a cliff hanger so I ended it here. The next chapter will be out in a couple of days. Just wait. K, bye now.
Peace out! ;)
