Edward and Bella's Cottage
About Three AMRenesmee's Point of view.
A/N: I guess you can kind of see where this is going just by looking at the heading. Enjoy. This is strictly humor, not trashing anyone.
That scary man named Aro walked toward me in a foggy, barren field. I was all alone, and nobody was near. I couldn't run. I couldn't hide. All I could do was wait, and wait, and wait, as death walked closer.
I woke up just then, when Aro was a yard away from me. I crept silently down the cozy hall to Mommy and Daddy's big closed door, and as
I got there, I heard soft groans and moans, and quiet screams. This was strange. How come Daddy hadn't come when he saw that I was awake, like he usually did. He must be very busy.
I opened the door just a crack and peeked in. I expected to see them reading their books or talking or something like that, but what I saw was something very different.
Mommy and Daddy were wrestling! And they had wrestled so much that their clothes were all ripped up on the floor. The moonlight coming in through the open window illuminated their pale skin. I didn't want Mommy and Daddy to hate each other, and I didn't want to see any more of this. I gasped and looked away.
Daddy looked up when he heard me, but Mommy kept on wrestling. As I saw her face, I saw she was smiling and reaching for Daddy's face. "Renesmee." Daddy choked out the word.
Mommy looked up then, horror in her eyes, her long, soft brown hair, in a neat ponytail earlier today, was now messy with scraps of—was that Daddy's shirt?—tangled into it.
"Mommy, why were you wrestling Daddy? I thought you loved him," I said. I was very worried. I couldn't take my wide eyes off of their naked, pale bodies. What was that- that- that thing sticking out of Daddy. Of course, I'd seen something similar on Jake when he took off his clothes to phase and forgot I was there, but why was Daddy's so huge?
"Wait one second," Daddy said. He and Mommy rushed into the closet and came out with clothes on. Usually they looked very put together, but now they looked messy, Mommy's Pajama shirt tilted to one side so it was off her right shoulder, and Daddy's shirt unbuttoned.
"We were just playing," Mommy said. "We don't hate each other."
"Oh. Good," I said.
"Did you have a bad dream?" Daddy asked as he picked me up.
"Yes," I played it for him, adding in my own comments here and there.
Daddy's eyes got very wide. "You should show your mother that."
I did.
"It's okay, Nessie. It was just a dream. We're not going to let anything hurt you." Mommy carried me into the kitchen and opened up the refrigerator. "Do you want a squirrel or a chipmunk?"
"Squirrel, please," I said. She handed me the biggest one there was. I drank its blood. I really preferred human blood, but for some reason, we Cullens had to have "morals."
"Okay, now. Off to bed," Mommy said.
I crawled out of her arms. "Goodnight, Mommy," I said and went to bed. I fell asleep quickly in my huge bed.
The next morning.
Renesmee and Jacob in the woods alone.
Renesmee's point of view.
We were hunting elk today. We hadn't smelled a herd for a while. Jacob was holding me. I really wished people would figure out that I could walk perfectly.
For some reason, I couldn't get rid of the memories of last night. I showed Jacob what happened.
"Mommy said they were just play-wrestling," I told him, "But she sounded like she was lying. What happened."
Jacob looked uncomfortable. "You, see, Nessie, when a man and a woman love each other very much…"
A/N: Here you go. I hope you like it. I don't want to re-edit. Sorry if you don't!
"Karate is a form of martial art in which people who have had years and years of training can, using only their hands and feet, make some of the worst movies in the history of the world."
PS: That was a random quote. Didn't have anything to do with the story.
