"Ugh", Cas leaned on the side of the toilet filled with vomit. His breathing had slowed down and had started to heave. He felt like he was dying. The last bit of life draining away.
He started to think of his family, what he'd say to them. He thought about those he cared for; his brothers, Sam, Dean. Why? Why did he deserve this seemingly endless damnation?
Dean stood at the doorway, "I told you, you shouldn't have eaten all that candy," he said.
"I know, it's just, it was my first true Halloween and I was just so excited."
"Yeah, I could tell. You literally stole candy from a baby." Dean said as he chuckled.
"In my defense it was a woman dressed as a baby, sparingly, I might add." He threw up another load.
"Jeez Cas, how much candy did you eat?" Dean said as he sat next Cas and started to pat his back.
"When we got home I had Gabriel bring me some more candy. Since I too am an angel, I thought I could withstand all that candy,"
"Dude, he's an archangel, there's stuff he can do that you can't,"
Cas slumped, Dean seeing this, wanted to cheer Cas up. "We can go for ice cream if it'll make you feel better." He said a little bit encouragingly.
"Dean, my stomach contents have been laid out, I don't need any more ammunition to expel."
"At least let me help you get cleaned up."
Cas succumbed to Dean's emerald eyes. Dean helped Cas up and took off his dress shirt and tie. Without warning his face flushed a bright red, redder than a Twizzler. He took a cloth and a gently wiped Cas' face and his ripped chest. If it was even possible, Dean was flustered like a school girl during her first slow dance. When he cleaned up Cas he got an old ACDC shirt of his and put it on Cas. After he was all dressed Dean brought Cas to the couch they had put in the bunker.
"Dean I do not require help. I am an angel of The Lord, I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself."
"Yeah, my ass," Dean scoffed.
Cas, thinking about how nice Dean's ass really was, was suddenly plucked from his thoughts. "I am very much able to manage my own well being." He was about to say more but started to gag. Dean, seeing this, got a brow paper bag at the ready.
Cas had been able to stop himself from throwing up again, yet his pride had been damaged. The was he had slumped his shoulders made Dean upset, so he stood up and said, "How 'bout I get you some aspirin to help you sleep?"
"That, would be great," Cas sighed and readjusted his position.
Ten minutes later Dean came in with some Advil and saw that Cas had fallen asleep without this aid. He looks so serious, even when he sleeps, thought Dean as he began to smile.
Dean deciding to take a leap of faith, gently kissed the top of Cas' forehead, careful not to wake him up. After he covered him with some knit blanket Sam had gotten, he went to make tomato-rice soup.
Little did he know Cas slept with a smile for the rest of the time.
Argh. I started this on Halloween :/ I procrastinated from procrastinating. Any-who, even though this took me forever it is still rushed. Reviews are gold :)
