Ode to Kenny
Kenny McCormick was poor, he was dirty, and he was a whore. And that's just the way I like him. I met Kenny in 4th grade, and he was a whore even then, but he was still my friend. It wasn't until about 8th grade that we really started hanging out. Stan and Kyle were always making out or something and Cartman was being…Cartman, so he started to hang out with me.
I remember that's when he started calling me Butterscotch. Then he told me he was bi, and I wasn't surprised, the whore he was I'm sure he'd been with a number of men before. I really liked him, a lot, I just couldn't tell him. In 10th grade he kissed me, over at Stark's Pond, and then a tree fell on him. But he told me that when he was dead he would always stay with me as a ghost, which was comforting.
We didn't really officially start going out until we were in 12th grade. We showed up at the prom together and the girls went wild. Girls liked me because I was cute and they like Kenny because he's Kenny and that in itself is explanation enough. Something about two guys dancing together drives girls insane.
When we were 20 I moved in with him, much to the dismay of my parents. I haven't talked to them since. We lived in a nasty old apartment in the worst part of South Park right next to a freaking landfill but it was the most perfect place on earth to me. By that time Kenny died less and less often and I always feared that the next time he died would be the last time.
Then he really did die. He was 60 years old, and died of lung cancer. His last words were "Butterscotch I promise that I'll always be with you, even if you can't see me, I love you." Every night I feel a warm spot on my forehead, like he's still kissing me before I go to bed. Kenny McCormick was a dirty, poor little whore, but he was mine.
Love Leopold Butters Scotch (Butterscotch)

I don't own South Park
