It is almost closing time at Luke's diner. Luke is looking at the tickets of what the customers ordered today. He notices the door opening and he sees Christopher looked stressed and tired. "It's almost closing time". Luke said to the Christopher.

Christopher looks at Luke. "I need some coffee, please". Christopher said to Luke as he sits on a stool. Luke notices how stressed out Christopher is. "Coming up", Luke said to Christopher as he pours a cup of coffee for him.

Luke looks at Christopher as he is drinking the coffee. "No wonder why Lorelai raves about this coffee so much". Christopher said to Luke. Luke smirks at Christopher. "That's Lorelai for you". Luke said to Christopher.

Christopher looks at Luke. "I can never understand how Lorelai raised Rory all by herself, and yet I am trying to rise Gigi by myself and I am failing miserably". Christopher said to Luke. Luke rises a brow at Christopher. "Where is Gigi's mother"? Luke asks Christopher. Christopher looks at Luke. "Paris, the roles has reversed, and it is bitting me in the ass big time". Christopher said to Luke.

Luke looks at Christopher. "I guess it comes with being a parent". Luke said to Christopher. "You have a kid besides being a father figure to Rory". Christopher said to Luke. Like looks at Christopher. "Yeah, her mom didn't tell me about her, and then one day she popped in to the diner. She grab a hair strand from me and went on her way. I found out when I went to the science fair that I am her father". Luke said to Christopher.

Christopher has a stunned look on his face. "Wow, I guess we are kind of in the same boat on raising a kid. How old is your kid"? Christopher asks Luke. Luke looks at Christopher. "She is 12. In a way, she reminds me of Rory because she is smart. What about your daughter"? Luke asks Christopher.

Christopher looks at Luke. "She is three years old. She is like a mini Sherry. No pre school would take her. I try to discipline her at home, but it is getting worse". Christopher said to Luke.

Luke looks at Christopher. "You need to toughen up. She needs structure and needs to hear the word no". Luke said to Christopher. Christopher looks at Luke. "I think the word 'no' Sherry never could except". Christopher said to Luke. "You do need to remind Gigi that you do love her when she does something wrong". Luke said to Christopher.

Christopher looks at Luke as he is letting the words sink in. "Your right, thanks for the coffee and the advice". Christopher said to Luke as he gets out some cash. "It's on the house from one father to another". Luke said to Christopher. Christopher nods as he puts the cash away. "Thank you", Christopher said to Luke as he leaves the diner. He has newfound confidence in dealing with his three year old daughter.

End story.
