I'm doing a oneshot! Hahaha. For Misa, who is hated for all the wrong
reasons D:
Misa-Misa is a murderer.
She is also a cute model, a suspect and Light's dimwitted girlfriend. Her hair is bleached blond and her blue eyes glitter playfully every time you look at her. She speaks in third person and bounces around childly. And while she is all this, she still manages to write name after name in a Death Note, still managing to remain unmarred after stopping so many hearts (hundreds, hundreds of them, crying out and regretting their crimes, stopping in time and falling to the ground with lifeless eyes) and untainted. If one were to figure this all out, if one were to wonder how she is untouched after all blood that should be stained on her hands, they've obviously forgotten one thing.
Misa-Misa also happens to be an actress.
It's amusing how no one notices how that when Misa-Misa beams up at people and coos as if she'd do anything for them, as if she's the innocent girl she really isn't, she gets her choice of dinner in the end, she gets the pair of shoes she's wanted for ages, she gets what she wants. She's manipulative, Misa-Misa is, so when she meets Light it's a downfall of dignity, but of course she doesn't care anymore. After all, love conquers all, right? She doesn't like to let doubt enter her mind, you can't be a "Goddess" if you don't ultimately believe in your God, can you? So instead, she lies easily, the same way she lies to Ryuuzaki. When her friends call her up for a drink and they gush about how her last photo shoot was such an extreme success, a question about Light is inevitable. Because they think that they know her and Misa-Misa isn't very bright while Light has topped about every single test he's taken, plus he's on the Kira case.
"Misa," They would start slowly. "Do you ever think that Light...cheats on you? You don't go on dates often, right? And...you're opposites, no offense."
Misa-Misa smiles at this, but inside she's mentally cursing herself, telling herself to collect herself – pull herself together! She can't be a Goddess unless she has faith. And she does have faith. It's just that she has doubts, too.
"What are you talking about, Sumi-chan?" Misa-Misa says, (pretending to be) confused. "We've been on plenty of dates! Misa-Misa and Light have gone to lots and lots of dates!" She starts to spread her arms to show that she has (but she really hasn't, he keeps on saying that he's busy, that he doesn't have time, and she just whines and groans but doesn't go any further) and that Light is the perfect boyfriend and that she is the perfect girlfriend and why question? And doesn't Sumi-chan trust Misa-Misa? Misa-Misa thought that Sumi-chan was her friend.
As Misa-Misa suspected, Sumi-chan apologised repeatedly before going onto another topic. Misa-Misa wondered if Sumi-chan would act differently if she knew that the Goddess of the New World was right in front of her.
Kira is Light, and Light is God. No questions, no doubts.
No, Kira is a murderer, and that is a fact.
Misa-Misa hates herself for almost believing that.
'Tis short, I know. I'm sorry, it's not that good ._.
