Ash; Lorice; Paige; Whisper; Rachel; Belinda; Blade; Macy; Dustin. They are only some of the survivors. Different kids. Different pasts. Different reasons. All have one same goal: survive. Now they're stuck in the middle of nowhere, lost, injured-some severely-, and without a way to get help. As the kids struggle to fight the "Dark Force", not only on a daily basis, but during harsh, cold winter, one question remains: will they survive? She is the one. She has reasons, too, for letting the innocent die. But the police won't believe her, and she, the villain must struggle to survive as she faces the "Dark Force" within her, once and for all
Prologue
November 1st 3:59 am
It was a dark, chilly night. A strong breeze blew, rustling the branches of trees. Leaves scattered across the ground away from the woods, across a green, grassy field, and over rusty, old railroad tracks. Above, in the midnight blue sky, a glimmering yellow full moon peeked out from behind misty gray clouds.
Suddenly, a person darted out from the woods. The figure was wearing a all black, and even had a black mask covering their face. The figure stopped at the rusty gray tracks and kneeled down.
The person took out a few objects from its jacket. There was what looked like a bundle of sticks, a coil of wire, and a rectangular object. The shadowy figure wrapped the wire around the bundle and attached the rectangular object to it. He, or she, punched in something on the object and it lit up, revealing it was a timer. In the screen, in big red block letters, glowed:
5:00.
Laughing quietly, the skinny human hit another button and the timer began ticking, backwards. A nasty, evil grin that was barely noticeable formed on his or her face and the person took their jet black hat and shook their head, allowing curtains of midnight black hair fall down their back.
"Venemous strikes again!"She said quietly. Looking at the clock, which now read 3:12, she darted back to the woods, leaving no evidence that she had been there.

The train was within two feet of the timer. The timer stopped for a millisecond and then exploded with a "BANG!" The train stopped, as though frozen in time. But it exploded as well, bits of train and ash covering the fields. Screams sounded, terrified screams, before they were cut off. Smoke immediately filled the air, choking and blinding the victims as they tried to escape the terrifying scene. Numerous fires started, burning whatever was avaible
All was chaos.
As smoke rose in all directions, and high-pitched screams echoed throughout the air, a nasty, distant laugh could be heard from the woods.
