Halloween, England and Russia
Disclaimer: I do not own Axis Powers Hetalia.
A/N: The beginning is based on the Halloween strip where America tries to scare England.
If you want to read it, I have a link to the strips in english on my profile. ~
England walked confidently up to America's front door, smirking. It was Halloween, and thus the yearly custom of each of them trying to scare the crap out of each other had begun.
England was confident in his skills, after all, he had brought his fearsome summon creature with him!
"Hmm…is it okay, for me, a feeble old man to be working with you…?" England's summon creature asked shyly, his huge stature and strange face-tattoo's contrasting heavily with the intimidating image he broadcasted with ease.
"No, that's fine." England assured his giant inhuman companion. "If it's you, you can do it!" He told him with a determined look on his face.
Standing outside the door, England stopped along with his summon. Pumpkins and other various Halloween-like things decorated the outside of America's house.
"Hey!" He yelled. "America, I'm here."
He pulled open the door.
"Come on…" He looked around nervously.
It was America's style to have things just jump out.
"Hmm…so every Halloween you and England try to out-scare each other?" Japan asked, sounding interested.
"Right! It's the first thing in the morning! But right now I'm at zero wins, eighty-seven losses."America said, barreling right ahead. "When I was younger, every year England would dress up and I would have to go through some really scary things!"
"So that guy is the origin of it all…" Japan muttered, going unheard by America.
"…So this year I thought I'd add some 'Japanese horror taste'!" America finished triumphantly. He laid out a thin scroll. Unrolling it, it revealed a map of his house with scribbled plans to scare England on it.
"I was thinking we could have something waiting for England in one of the inner rooms, and when he comes in, it'll go 'boo'!" America said cheerfully.
"And then…" Japan interrupted him. "Ah, wait a second!"
"Did you get a good idea?" America asked happily.
"If it's an inner room, he'll think 'something's coming, something's coming!'" Japan continued. "You couldn't really say that is effective for horror…"
"The foundation for horror is terror from a surprise attack, so let's change your plan." Japan said with consideration. "We should have something with the right impact at the beginning…" He picked up the phone. "I'll get someone to help…"
England walked through the front hall of America's house.
"Alright, here I come!" He said, confidently.
His confidence was soon stolen, smashed and then withered away the moment he saw what was waiting for him at the end of the hallway.
A deceptively pleasant wooden desk with a little card reading 'receptionist' stood at the end. Sitting in a chair with a cone-shaped party hat on his head was Russia.
"Welcome!" Russia said cheerfully with a smile.
"Aaaarrrrghh!" England screamed intelligently. "Oh, thank you." England's summon said in gratitude, not realizing the horror that was in front of them.
"Ah, no, this isn't the real thing, right…" England said hopefully. He put his hands tentatively on Russia's face, one hand lightly on each cheek. He was about to sigh in relief, but then Russia spoke.
"Ahaha…that tickles~" Russia giggled. "Kol kol kol."
"Aeeeah!" England screamed. He twitched and then his world went black.
