Harry Potter looked at the amazing wand in his hands and felt fuzzy.

He walked over to the window and reflected on his surroundings. He had always loved the medieval-like Hogwarts with its huge, impressive Great Hall. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel happy and welcome.

Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Draco Malfoy. Draco was a powerful Snake with bleached blond hair and blue-silver eyes.

Harry gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a slightly short and scrawny, ambitious and had no sense of self-worth with green eyes, black hair and a lightning shaped scar on his forehead. His friends saw him as a powerful but gentle God. Once, he had even revived a dying, injured hippogriff.

The snow flurried, making Harry anxious. As Harry stepped outside and Draco came closer, he could see the glint in his eye.

Draco gazed with badly concealed affection. He said, in hushed tones, "I love you, I want your trust."

Harry looked back, even more anxious and still playing with the Elder Wand. "Draco, you are a foul, loathsome, evil little cockroach," he replied.

Draco stared in shock and sadness, depression was kicking in. So was embarrassment if the red face and ears were anything to go by.

Harry regarded Draco's appearance a moment. "But..." Draco looked up, slight hope in those silver orbs of his. "I feel the same way!" revealed Harry with a delighted grin.

Draco looked surprised, as he blushed a shade of red that could rival a phoenix's.

"Well, don't just stand there! Come on inside!" the Lion grinned as it led the Snake inside its home.
