When you walk into the classroom, door sliding shut behind you, you catch a glimpse of the girls already within: blond twin tails set with flower hair bands and long, auburn hair are the first things you notice. The familiar excited squeals and whispers from Sonoda-san and her friends are the only sounds you really hear, aside from the usual bumps of book bags hitting desks, and the soft thuds of uwabiki hitting the floor.

With one eye on their group, you make your way towards your desk and place your own book bag on the wooden top. As you begin to unpack some of your needed things, you know that, despite looking ready, you won't have much luck absorbing material in class. The room alights with chatter as soon as you've sat down and began checking your pencil-case. It is when you hear your named called in greeting that you turn slightly towards the voice.

You wave your hand towards one of your friends, whom has drawn closer to you. You vaguely think, as you call out in return, that your day has just gotten better.

As she takes her own seat, dark hair set in a side ponytail, your friend starts by commenting on the day, and the conversation soon has your full focus. You laugh quietly, and giggle when your friend makes a funny joke. Her eyes sparkle as you mutter something complimentary, your hand coming up as you gesticulate.

Glancing quickly towards your left, you notice Sonoda-san and her friend, Takayama-san, sitting to the side, secret smiles, lost within their own little bubble.

You shake your head and grin to yourself, before listening attentively to your friend again. Silently, you wish all the luck in the world for the couple. 'And maybe,' you think, gripping your friend's hand briefly in happiness. 'For myself, as well.'
