"...and then I asked him, which hole, darling?" Naruko roared with laughter as soon as she finished telling one of her perverted encounters with her friends. Walking alongside with her, Kiba snorted, easily humored by his friend's daily stories which were apparently, endless. However, the third person in their company did not seem very entertained.
"Shut up, Naruko!" He shouted, irritated at the girl, "Stop being so perverted. It is very immature and humorless,"
"Sorry, Saku-kun!" she mimicked a childish voice, sarcasm obviously present in her voice. "Wont happen again." She innocently batted her eyelashes at him at which Sakuto turned rather pink at face, much like his hair. However, when Naruko went to the extent of putting her arms around his waist and nuzzling him, his face became unhealthily shade of red as he futilely tried to pry her arms off him while trying to keep up with irate façade instead of making his uneasiness obvious.
"Stop that, Naruko, its annoying," He said through clenched teeth, it was hard to keep up with a deceptive exterior. Naruko laughed, finally removing herself from her best friend despite the fact it was rather comfortable draping over Sakuto. Kiba smirked at Sakuto discomfort, knowing the reason for his awkwardness. Everyone knew of his crush on Naruko except the person in question. It frustrated their friends to no end at their obvious flirting with each other but not doing anything about it. However their match-making was rather feeble since they were handling a very oblivious Naruko. But, their attempts really went out of the window when they realized that flirting coming from Naruko's end was one without any intend because the girl was infatuated with another boy.
It was quite uneasy to see the amount of the tension hovering in the air when the trio was around each other. It was a never ending love triangle. Each one constant refusal to admit their love, their stubbornness and their pride prevented the triangle to be broken. However, as a very constant fact, there was always a risk of friendship when it came to love because it was an unsaid and a very true situation that one was going to leave heartbroken. Who knew who would eventually be receiving the end of Naruko's affection; her admirer Sakuto or the one she admires Sasuke.
"Oi, Sasuke-bastard!" a call came from Naruko as she rushed forward towards Sasuke, leaving Kiba and Sakuto behind. Sasuke merely acknowledged her by halting his pace and looking at her as she bounded towards him, effectively locking her arm with his upon reaching the boy. Once engaging Sasuke's arm in a death grip, she continued to bounce towards their training grounds, yapping mindlessly at Sasuke, recalling various encounters and stories as the boy either replied with a nod or didn't reply at all.
Sakuto bid farewell to Kiba as they parted ways to their respective training grounds as he continued to trudge behind the noisy duo...well, noisy half-duo. After all, Naruko could make enough noise for ten people.
"Oi, Sakuto! Hurry up!" she yelled over her shoulder, motioning the boy to come over. Sakuto sighed but complied and walked a little faster.
"So loud, Naruko," he sighed, catching up with his teammates. But, he good-naturedly swung his arm around the smaller girl's shoulders.
So the trio walked along. Two boys and a girl sandwiched in between. As the girl held the black-haired boy's arm while the pink-haired boy kept a grip around her shoulder. One way or another, they were connected to each other. They were connected by unrequited love.
