Disclaimer: I don't own Wicked

Just a little thing I put together about Wicked, since I am a fan. Starts during Defying Gravity

Glinda peered up at her green friend, high in the air, defying gravity like no one ever has.

Tears swelled in her eyes.

Her best pal was completing her dreams, and at the same time, ruining them. She was doing what she believed in, defying what she new wasn't right.

As Elphaba twirled her wand around, Glinda couldn't help but wander if the two would have to separate paths. But even if they did, Glinda would know where to look.

"Look to the western sky…"

Elphaba looked down on her friend in the yellow dress. Glinda's face was swelled with tears; tears of both joy and sorrow.

Her heart pounded as she preached to the world that she would rather be wicked than a slave.

And yet, Elphie wandered where this life would take her, and even Glinda.

Elphaba was singing to Glinda, telling her that She had to dream bigger in order to do what was best.

And suddenly she got a response, "I hope your happy now."

As Glinda sang, Elphie's heart wanted to sing with her.

"Who can say if I've been changed for the better? But, because I knew youI have been changed for good."

Glinda's voice gave an enchanting and heart-warming tone that even Elphaba couldn't resist. Tears began to roll down both of their eyes.

It felt as if Glinda had totally forgotten about the green skin and "wickedness" that Elphie had possessed, and wanted to share a moment with her eternal best friend.

And still, to words rang in their heads…for good.

The Sound of Elphaba's voice filled the sunken hole in Glinda's heart that had lied there so many years.

"Who can say if I've been changed for the better? But, because I knew youI have been changed for good."

Finally, the two were reunited at last.

It had been a rough and rugged journey, but the two were holding arms at long last.

They would hold arms…for good.

Glinda sat behind a thick curtain as she heard Elphie's screams.

"Oh what a world what a world!"

Glinda began to sob. Sinking her arms into her hands, she could feel river of tears swimming down her wrist.

Was it really over? Was this how it was meant to end?

Flashbacks ran through Glinda's head as she held the Grimmerie firm in her arms.

Now the pages of the Grimmerie were unreadable do to water that dripped from Glinda's eyes, and it was only getting worse.

But Glinda knew only one thing in that moment of time, She and Elphie would be friends…for good.

This was inspired by my sister's (iloveluke1222) story called forever and ever.
