Louis One Shot
There he was. Samantha thought he was the most perfect human being in the world. Then again so did every other girl. They all flirted with him, trying to get him to fall for them. Sam knew there was no point, she was lucky for him to even look at her.
"Sam, you're day dreaming again…" Her best friend advised.
She blinked once then began walking to her next class. Her friend began to ramble on about some big Science test but all she could think about was English. Last lesson her teacher said that the class was acting too "noisy" and a new seating plan would take place next lesson. She had begged, and prayed that she would not sit next to Louis.
"Okay, see you in Maths." Her friend said.
Sam nodded and walked into the classroom. Most of the class was seated.
"Samantha, over there." The teacher instructed.
Sam's head turned to see what seat she would be seated at. There was no one there. She would sit alone, far from him hopefully. She almost skipped to her seat and unpacked. The teacher began to start the lesson when a voice interrupted her.
"Sorry I'm late."
That voice. He wasn't seated yet….
Sam scanned the room. The only spare seat was next to her.
"Uh, Louis. I told you not to be late." She lectured
"Yeah I know, but I was studying in the library when…"
"I don't want to hear your stories Louis, detention at Lunch."
Louis smirked and looked for a spare seat.
"Over next to Samantha." The teacher said, as if reading his mind.
He looked around, obviously not knowing her name and stopped when she put her hand up to say "Hey I'm Sam."
He nodded and walked towards the spare seat. Sam started to blush. She looked down at her book and began scribbling a rough sketch.
"Hey." He whispered, eyeing down the teacher. "I'm Louis."
"Hi.." She said back, looking up. Immediately their eyes locked.
"Louis! Would you please sit down!" The teacher scolded.
Realising that he hadn't yet sat down and was staring at a girl as if in a trance he blushed and sat down.
The teacher continued with the lesson.
"So, I don't think we've met before…" He started again, avoiding eye contact.
"Yeah, we have, but you wouldn't remember." She said shyly.
"Samantha! Stop talking. Detention at lunch."
Her mouth dropped.
"Miss I was the one talking." Louis said, winking at Sam.
"I saw Samantha talking Louis, I'm not dumb." She said sternly
"But." He started, smiling.
"That's it Louis outside, I've had enough of you distracting the class…" The teacher pointed outside.
"Miss, he didn't do anything!" Samantha suddenly yelled out.
All heads faced her.
"You want to join him Samantha?" She threatened.
"Okay." Sam said, walking out the door after Louis.
The teacher was shocked and didn't know what to say.
"And can you please call me Sam not Samantha?" She called out behind her.
She walked out feeling alive, adrenaline pumping through her.
"Thanks." Louis said.
Sam looked up as Louis took her by the hand.
"Do you wanna hang out sometime?"
"Yes, yes I do." Sam smiled.
