Bill leaned against the kitchen doorway, watching his mother at work. She bustled around, charming chocolate bars into chopping themselves, pitting cherries, sorting utensils with a flick of her wrist and a practised eye.

He sniffed. Cherries and Chocolate. Ginny's favourite. Given that she'd just gotten her Quidditch Captain badge, it was probably a surprise.
