Chapter One: There is a Problem

It was a beautiful day at Camp Wawanakwa. The birds were chirping, the sun was shining, no nagging from Chris what so ever. It had almost felt uncanny for the campers of Total Drama Island, waking up to no engine motors or loud bull horns. For once it was peaceful; unusual, but peaceful. By the time it was already noon; the campers settled in and started enjoying the quiet campsite.

Trent was strolling along the deck. The river beamed a bright blue as it reflected the sky. The sun shone a bright yellow. The campers were all up to their typical hobbies.

Trent glanced to his right. Harold had fallen asleep on the steps of the boys' cabin while Duncan held a bucket of water, grinning mischievously. Sadie and Katie were fawning over Justin's masculine body as her fawned over himself. Izzy had stuck her head into the water, trying to catch fish with her teeth.

Trent then glanced to his left. His main girl, Gwen, was sitting on a side on the deck while sketching on her sketch book. She had heard Trent's feet and looked up at him, smiling. Trent waved back, grinning wildly. It was obvious to everyone that Trent had really fallen for Gwen, although most people weren't certain about Gwen.

Heather knew, and she had used that against her in the talent show. Reading her entry about Trent, she had really embarrassed the Goth, who had then run away from the humiliation. Although she had stated that he played the guitar, most people were still pretty clueless.

That didn't matter to Trent. All he liked was to spend time with Gwen. He started to walk towards her until another hand grabbed him by the shoulder.

"Trent! There's a huge problem going on!" Lindsay cried, dramatically. She clutched on to his shoulders. Trent glanced back at Gwen, who rolled her eyes before turning her head towards the lake.

"What's the problem Lindsay?" Trent asked the blonde.

"It's Owen! He ate Chef's fridge clean! I think he got fatter!" She explained.

Trent just blinked at her. "That's it?" Had she really called him for this matter? He thought it would be more serious then a big teenager eating food.

Lindsay stared at him in disbelief. "What do you mean 'that's it'? This is serious, what if he explodes?"

Now it was Trent's turn to roll his eyes. Although Lindsay was drop dead gorgeous, her IQ was something to question about.

"Oh c'mon Lindsay, even you know that's not true! Owen eats like a hundred things a day and he's still on his feet!"

At that moment a huge crash was heard. It had come from the kitchen. Trent and Lindsay stared at each other in wonder before rushing towards the sound. Gwen had heard it too and followed quickly behind them.

By the time they had reached to the kitchen, others were already there watching from outside. Chef, Beth and Heather were in the kitchen, mouths hanging open.

Chris's eye was twitching as he backed away. On the floor was Owen, mouth full of food. He was twice his size was before, reaching to about 600 pounds. His body grew bigger while his hands and feet looked very tiny. He smiled cheekily at everybody, who was too busy in bewilderment. Nobody said anything for a while.

Finally Trent turned to Lindsay, "Now that is a problem!"
