Running through time and space isn't half as fun as people make out. Well, no. Actually that's a lie. It is really fun! The best part about it is all the introductions to be made. Everywhere I go "Hi there! My name's the Doctor, who are you?" It's better when I have someone else to introduce with me. Being alone is so lonely. Although I know now, without Rose I will always be lonely in a way.
"What's your name?"
"Rose"
"Nice to meet you Rose, I'm the Doctor. Run for your life!!"
Then there was Martha. I was in hospital and she met me on the rounds. I remember lots of running that day as well. Always running,
And Donna. Donna in her wedding dress. What an adventure that turned out to be. I'd just said goodbye to Rose, and Donna just appeared.
I always seem to meet people in the strangest scenarios.
But I couldn't do it a lot of the time, without the help of my 'slightly psychic paper'. Everywhere I go, out it comes with the introductions. I've been kings, princes, authors, rulers of planets and then there was that one time I was a plumber…
"Introductions," the Doctor thought to himself, in the empty TARDIS. "So much better than goodbyes."
