Hey, so this isn't really story, it's just a one shot based on last night's episode (and OMG I FANGIRLED AFTER THAT EPISODE SO HARD, JEFF DAVIS YOU MADE ME FALL IN LOVE WITH TEEN WOLF ALL OVER AGAIN!) and I have to say, Derek and Ms. Blake's little moment was too cute! 3 So I hope you enjoy and all ideas and characters read below belong to Teen Wolf and its producers!
When Derek paused in front of the storage part of the school's boiler room, he could hear her heart beating wildly and the emotions surrounding her were stress, anxiety and confusion.
She was scared.
And Derek believed that she had every right to; if he was in her place and never believed that werewolves existed and then saw someone beat up a couple, he would be cowering behind something too.
But, he had been born into a world filled with the super natural, so unlike her, he was use to things like this.
Taking the first cautious, slow step, he ventured into the room, trying not to frighten her as her saw her poke her head from her hiding spot behind the shelf.
He could still hear her heart beat going crazy, but it was starting to slow down a little as the smell of curiosity, uneasiness and suspicion fill the room.
She was still afraid, still crouched, and Derek knew the blood stains on his shirt and face weren't doing much to make him not seem like a threat. Keeping her eyes to the floor, Derek stopped a few feet away and studied her.
One side of her wavy, brown hair fell past her shoulder as she looked down, her skin was fair and from what Derek could tell she had pink lips and defined cheekbones. Suddenly, she looked up at him and he saw stunning, green eyes look at him.
She was beautiful.
Derek knew that he couldn't say really anything about what she just saw and try to calm her down so he did the only real thing he could do.
He slowly reached out his hand.
She was hesitant at first and Derek considered pulling back, but slowly she reached out and then gently grabbed his rough hand with her soft one.
Suddenly, something happened to Derek. It wasn't something crazy or overly dramatic like in the movies, but something inside him changed. Suddenly, things seemed a lot less gloomy, a lot less bad…. And suddenly, everything around him seemed…. Good.
Something about her hand in his felt so right…. Almost perfect, even.
Sunlight streamed on them as a small, pure smile graced her lips, and as she looked up at him like he was her hero, it was like a sign from the heavens that something special had happened.
And for the first time, Derek Hale believed in miracles.
