About them

Personality: Diarmaid is the more mature of the Ireland twins, though that doesn't mean he won't cause trouble. He is rather kind and forgiving, yet tough, stubborn, rebellious and knows his way around a battle. He is very proud of his people and will do anything for them. Ireland often stays neutral because he doesn't want to go to war and he also prefers being a sort of sanctuary to the British. Because of all the sports he's played, he is quite strong.

Drunk: Violent and rather obnoxious. Ireland will beat people, mostly England, up and will curse like a sailor. He never remembers the next morning.

Likes: Hurling, Gaelic, Rugby, farming, Camogie matches(female equivalent to Hurling with slight rule changes), Football(soccer), bacon, tea, nature, Mythology, drinking, Aurora Borealis, though it's rare to see that in Ireland.

Dislikes: Paperwork, the water tax, pollution, traffic, hangovers.

Favorites: Beer, potatoes, Artemis Fowl, hares, Mrs Brown's Boys, Viking Splash Tour, Jacksepticeye.

Least favorites: Water mixed with medicine, snakes.

Fears: Fire, snakes, famine.

Talents: Playing the harp, singing, sports, resilience to invaders, magic.

Flaws: Can't cook anything besides potato dishes, bad economy, often late because of hangovers, bit of a grouch on late nights and early mornings.

Habits: Slipping into Irish when tired, upset, angry, scared, drunk or talking for a really long time.

Other

Theme song: Óró Sé Do Bheatha `Bhaile - Written by Padraig Pearse, a leader in the 1916 Rising.

Quote: Tá airgead i mo phoca, níl sé ag cur baistí ar mo cheann agus tá athas ar mo chlann. Tá mé sasta.
