Undying Love
Lands of undying life,

That kill a mortal man's dream.

Too long have I fought this strife,

Only to have it ripped at the seam.
Life is not without its love,

Or so I have learned.

It brings you joy and lifts you above

The lands the fire has burned.
Loveless existence,

A darkness of a banished heart,

Futile to all resistance,

Because love is a vital part.
So what is life, undying,

If there is no love to hold it through?

It is a sadness alone and crying

Unable to stay forever true.
