You screamed for days. That's what they said. You immediately raced into his room and fell to your knees at his bedside. That's what they said. They told you the tears had not stopped; nothing seemed to be able to stop them.
"Be careful, something doesn't feel right."
That's what you had told him. And he simply laughed at you, telling you not to worry. Now his face flashes in your mind, bloody and bruised. His pale, unmoving face haunts your thoughts. The blood was everywhere, is still everywhere. No matter how much you scrub it never fades, not even when your skin becomes an unhealthy red.
You destroy your room, tearing anything within your reach to shreds. Clothes lay scattered about and your bed lays in broken heaps. Your guitar rest in your lap, constantly sending vibrations through your body as you pluck your fingers raw. Blood stains the music making cords. You play the song he wrote for you, hoping it will dry your tears. It doesn't help.
You constantly hear your band mates and mother at the door, calling for you in hopes that they can pull you from the darkness. You remain unmoving, but during the times when you collapse for exhaustion you can feel your mom running her fingers through your hair.
Her tears wet you skin, crying over her lost sons. She knows you are damaged, will be damaged forever, if you even survive. They all know without saying a word that both twins died in the car accident.
You refuse to think of his funeral, forced to see that pale, unmoving body before it is placed in the ground and covered completely by dirt. It is an unbelievable image that scars your mind and makes you want to lay beside him.
You smash your guitar the next day, his song taunting you. It was unfair! You were suppose to go off into the night together. You were never meant to part. That's what he had promised you. Now where was he?! Gone and dead!
…the thought floors you and knocks the breath out of your lungs. Tears beginning to roll down your cheeks and your body trembles. He's dead…he's dead! You cannot believe it. Slowly, you curl into a ball, completely withdrawn. Your soul mate is gone, forever.
I'm guessing everyone remembers Bill's accident from 2009 and how he walked away without any serious injuries. Well this is a what-if. In interviews it was stated how Tom freaked out when he found out and rushed to Bill's side so how would he react if Bill didn't make it. It's short, it's random, and it's in a strange perspective, but let me know what you think.
