One Day In Discovery City, Ian was hanging out with Eddie. They were drinking soda pop. They were having a great time with each other.

But all of the sudden something came out of Ian's mouth.

What was that? asked Eddie.

I don't Eddie. answered Ian. Then it happened again, and again, and again.

I don't get it. What's wrong with me? Ian wondered. Later on Ian and Eddie saw Michael.

Hi Michael. said Eddie.

Hey Ian. Hey Eddie. said Michael. What's up? he asked.

Something's wrong with me. said Ian as he hiccuped.

Do you know what's wrong with Ian. asked Eddie.

Looks like Ian you have a case of the hiccups. said Michael. Ian was horrified.

Oh No. This is terrible. said Ian sadly. Is there a cure? he asked.

They tried different attempts to get rid of Ian's hiccups.

First Ian tried a drink of water but it didn't work. Next Ian tried holding his breath but that didn't work last they gave up.

Ian sadly walked away. Later on Ian was at the pond. He looked into his reflection. Let's face it. I'll be hiccuping for the rest of my life as a complete freak. he thought. And Ian began to cry. He was also hiccuping in the process. Then Maggie saw Ian.

What's wrong Ian? she asked.

I can't get rid of my Ian.

Have you tried standing upside down? asked Maggie.

Ian thought for a moment. Then he tried Maggie's idea but it didn't work.

Later on Maggie,Sarah Lynn,Michael,Eddie, and Sonya Lee were trying to find the solution to get rid of Ian's hiccups.

I know what we can do. said Sonya Lee. Then she whispered the plan.

Later that night Ian was still moping and doping about his hiccups. Until he heard Sarah Lynn and Sonya Lee screaming and running. Ian was concerned. What's going on? asked Ian.

We saw a monster. said Sarah Lynn.

And it's after us. said Sonya Lee.

Don't worry. said Ian. I'll deal with this. he said.

Just as he looked around for the monster he didn't notice it was behind him.

The monster roared. Ian turned and he screamed really loud.

Then Ian thought he was gonna hiccup again but he didn't. That meant only one thing, Ian's hiccups were gone.

My hiccups are gone. said Ian thankfully.

I sure wish Eddie,Michael, and Maggie were here to see me.

Were right here. said a voice. It was Eddie.

I knew scaring him would get rid of his hiccups. said Maggie.

And they did. said Ian happily.

We made a makeshift monster to try to scare you to get rid of your hiccups. said Michael.

I did the growly voice. said Eddie.

I controlled the arms. said Michael.

And I moved the legs on the stilts. said Maggie.

Thanks guys. said Ian.

No Problem. said Michael.

What are friends for. said Sarah Lynn.

You're more than my friends. said Ian. You guys are my special friends. he said.

Then Ian's friends gave Ian a nice big hug.

Let's go home. said Maggie.

As they were heading home they heard a hiccup. This time it was Eddie.

Uh Oh. They all said.

And so that's how Ian's friends helped Ian get rid of his hiccups. Now Ian didn't have to worry anymore about his hiccups. His friends were glad to help him. Nowadays whenever Ian got the hiccups, his friends were there to help.
