Risingmoon padded into the IceClan camp, a vole hanging from her jaws. she dropped her prey in the fresh-kill pile. Fallenfrost walked over. "Hello, Risingmoon, how was the hunt today?" He asked. "Hi, Fallenfrost," She mewed happily. "It was great! We caught lots of prey." She responded. "That's good. We'll need it. With the hard timhjryehntehthteehtthmes of leaf-bare right around the corner, we'll need lots of prey." Greif clouded his eyes. He looked over at his mate, Rowanleaf. "We already lost our little Skykit…" He murmured. Risingmoon brushed her black and white pelt on him, to comfort him. He looked into her piercing purple eyes. "I just wish Bristlestar would do something around it. She sits around all day in camp, never joins a hunting patrol, and leaves me, as her deputy to set up patrols. I mean, I know that that's what a deputy's job is, but still. She never does anything." Risingmoon nodded her head in agreement. Phoenixpaw and Soulpaw, Fallenfrost's other alive kits bounded into the camp, tired from the border patrol. "I'm so tired!" Soulpaw announced, bounding over from the entrance to his best friend, Softpaw, a she-cat, who which Phoenixpaw always made fun of. Soulpaw was in love with her. Back with Fallenfrost and Risingmoon, Fallenfrost had started a revolution against Bristlestar. "I say, tomorrow, at the Gathering, we should ask cats to help us fight against Bristlestar!" He stood up. So did Risingmoon. "I say we do!" She agreed. "Ok, it's settled. We're going to the Gathering tomorrow. And remember to ask Bristlestar. Though I don't think she'll care." And with that he bounded off to the Warriors' den. Risingmoon headed to Bristlestar's den.
Softpaw nuzzled her muzzle into Soulpaw's slowly heaving chest. She looked up at the blue orbs looking back down at her. She whispered in his ears: "I hope we can be mates one day…"His eyes widened. She nuzzled her soft brown fur into his chest again, falling asleep in his grasp, leaving him wide-eyed, and surprised.

Fallenfrost settled beside Rowanleaf. "What were you and Risingmoon talking about?" She asked. "Oh, nothing. You'll find out sooner or later." Rowanleaf was in shock. Did he just reject her? His mate? "Fine." She responded. She turned her ginger muzzle away. Risingmoon came bounding out of the leaders' den a while later. She sat down and rested before she heard the soft, low whisper of Fallenfrost's voice. "Hey, are you going to the Gathering tomorrow?" He asked. "Yea." "That's good." She fell asleep. A while later, Risingmoon
