N: this is a short story about a night in the Morgan-Jenkins household, told through the P.O.V of six year old Ella.
Disclaimer: I only own the twins, and the night of which this take place. R&R
I hear something shuffle outside the door; I'm not sure what it is. Probably a bunny. I walk over to my twin's bed.
"Tina, I think there's a bunny outside the door" I whisper to her. I'm scared and don't want to be eaten by an evil bunny.
Tina's wakes up and looks at me; I can tell she's as scared as me. "A bunny?" she asks me. "I think so" I reply.
"Ella, I don't want to be eaten" she says to me crying. "Me neither" I agree with her.
"Should we call for Mommies?" I think about it for a second, should we call the Mommies? "But Mommy Anya is scared of bunnies like us" I remind her.
"Oh yeah" she agrees "but we can call Mommy Lilah to come save us from the evil bunny" she says and I nod.
"MOMMY LILAH" we yell together, and I can hear the Mommies in their room, probably having fun-sex-time like always.
Mommy Lilah comes into our room wrapped in a towel and looks at us "yes?" she asks her voice seems very annoyed. Mommy Lilah doesn't like being interrupted.
"We thought there was a bunny outside the door" Tina tells Mommy Lilah, still crying a little.
"Check for us Mommy Lilah" I say to her. And she does, looking in the hall for the evil fluffy bunny. "There're no rabbits in this house, okay" she tells us. And I know she's not lying, Mommy Lilah never lies to us.
"Okie dokie, Mommy Lilah" I say, happy that there are no bunnies in my house. But Tina still looks scared.
"I wanna sleep with you and Mommy Anya" she says with a sad voice. I don't like it when Tina's sad.
And neither does Mommy Lilah, she bends down and scoops Tina up into a hug. Whispering in her ear "shhh now Tina, its ok" but Tina doesn't stop crying. So Mommy Lilah turns to me and asks "do you want to come as well?" and I nod. I like sleeping with the Mommies.
Mommy Lilah picks me up too and carries us into to her and Mommy Anya's bedroom. Mommy Anya smiles as we come into the room and says "how are my tiny humans tonight?"
Tina looks at Mommy Anya and replies "we got scared, cause we thought there was an evil bunny" Mommy Anya looks around scared. To see if there are any bunnies but doesn't see none.
"Well I hope there are none" she says and I laugh jumping out of Mommy Lilah's arms and onto he bed. Where Mommy Anya pulls me into a hug.
"Nope nope, Mommy Lilah checked and there are no bunnies" I tell her and she smiles "well good then".
Mommy Lilah and Tina have hopped into the bed. So I crawl under the covers next to Tina. Ready to go back to sleep.
"Night-night" Tina and I say at the same time.
