It was a typical day for Shrek; hauling ass, and trying to get his swamp fixed after the invasion of villagers. Shrek started getting tired of the old routine, and decided to do something new. He left his unfinished swamp, and traveled through the forest, looking for some wild onions. He found a huge batch of onions the villagers left, and started placing them in his basket. Suddenly, he heard an unsettling voice, "Hey boi."

The voice was from none other than Ainsley Harriott. "What are you doing here," replied Shrek. "Trying to see you flap your meat, boi." Ainsley joked. Shrek tried to hide his flushed face, "Not funny." Shrek could feel his heart pounding, and he started to feel light headed. He hated feeling this around Ainsley. "Whatever, I'm going back to my swamp." Shrek suddenly started walking back to his place, while suddenly Ainsley grabbed for his wrist. "You mean our swamp." Ainsley said. Shrek resisted to look back, and felt his insides warming up; melting. "Stop, I don't wanna play your games anymore, Ainsley." Shrek tried to break loose from Ainsley's grip. "I'm not playing games, Shrek. I'm serious about you." Ainsley replied, as he held tighter. Shrek started to feel like he was going to throw up, his whole body tensed, and he felt uncomfortable. "Ainsley, let go. I'm done with you." Shrek mumbled, and Ainsley loosens his grip. "Remember what we used to have, Shrek?" Ainsley said, finally letting go. "We had everything," he added.

Shrek turned around, and faced Ainsley. "We had everything," Ainsley repeated. "It was us against the world, remember?" he added, gesturing for a hug. Shrek stood there, not knowing what to do. He felt as if Ainsley was tricking him again. And if he was, he wouldn't let it happen. No, not again. Shrek accepted the hug, and gave Ainsley a tight squeeze, and Ainsley reciprocated.

The embrace made Shrek feel safe, like it was just them and only them. They stood there for a long time. For Shrek, it felt like they were there for hours, but for Ainsley, it only felt like a millisecond. They both let go, and looked each other in the eyes. Ainsley leaned in and whispered in Shrek's ears. "It's time to oil up." Shrek froze, and started to feel hot again. "We should go back to your swamp." Ainsley suggested. "You mean our swamp." Shrek corrected. The couple started walking back to their swamp.
