Author's Notes: This was written for the 7 Day Drabble Challenge at the IchiRuki Community on LiveJournal. The theme was "My brother wants to speak with you." I can't believe I wrote a Drabble full of so much CORN and CHEESE.

The years seemed to pass by without caution. The raven-haired heroine still retained her youthful appearance stared contently out the window of their room. Their years of friendship and hardship as Shinigami and soon lovers finally allowed Rukia and her orange haired lover to comfortably share the same room and the same bed. It's so peaceful here... for once. Her violet-blue eyes gazed out the window that she first climbed into to secretly access the house without the rest of the Kurosakis knowing. The sun had set and the darkness of the night began to stretch across her second home, Karakura-cho.

He will be home soon. Rukia sat on the foot of the bed and waited patiently for Ichigo to come back from finishing his last final exam at his university. It's amazing how he could keep up with his grades while handling the pressures of being a Shinigami. She felt immensely proud of her boyfriend for overcoming the impossible and constantly improving himself by always becoming stronger— physically and emotionally. She knew that this was the man she is willing to spend an eternity with… no matter what new obstacles stand in their way.

"Rukia-chan?" After a few knocks, a young lady peeps her head in the room. Yuzu grew up into a beautiful young woman who matched Masaki's image perfectly. "Umm… My brother wants to speak with you. He's waiting outside the house."

Rukia was a bit perplexed by what Ichigo wanted to talk about. Her curiosity led her outside and stopped in her tracks after seeing the tall figure standing in front of the Kurosaki Clinic. He turned around and smiled at her. "I'm home… Rukia."

Rukia raised her eyebrow and folded her arms across her chest. "You made me come all the way downstairs just so you can say you're home?!"

"Idiot! Did you really think I'd make Yuzu bring you down here if it wasn't important?" he retorted. There they were arguing as per usual. They both knew that they still enjoyed their daily banters.

"Well then, if that's all you needed to say then I'll go back insi—"

Without warning, Ichigo pulled Rukia by the arm, twirled her around into his arms, and locked her in a deep kiss. Ichigo held his girlfriend's head with one hand and the other was resting on her slender waist. Rukia gave into that sensual kiss that drove her mouth crazy and dug her fingers through the back of his spiky orange hair. His lips drew back to give Rukia some air and smirked. "Now that I have your attention, I wanted to ask you something out here because this spot is important to me… to us. This is where you gave me your powers," his soft whisper echoed through Rukia's ear.

The full moon illuminated the exact spot where the lovely couple was standing. Nostalgic memories raced through Rukia's mind as she looked around the area in front of the Kurosaki home. She hasn't forgotten, but for some reason this was the first time she looked at it so meticulously.

"Now let me give you something…" Rukia continued to stare at him intently. Her heart was pounding at an unbelievable rate and she could barely catch enough air to breathe properly.

"Who would've known that it was the right place…" Ichigo reached inside his pocket and placed himself down on one knee. "… To find the right wife who I want to spend an eternity with."

End.
