December
Scout paced along the small shelter, his breath seeming to cling to the air, the mountain was freezing, but he knew that his tour would be visiting mountainous places, this was only the beginning. Scout huffed and crouched near the door of the shed.
"Ey, mongrel. Ya still alive out there?" Sniper called from the shed.
"Yeah, wats-it-to-ya?" Scout spat.
"I can leave you out here, you know."
Scout glared at the white new flakes falling, Sniper was inside gathering ammo and medical kits for their tour. Scout snorted and tried to diminish the word from his mind. It was his and he knew it. Sniper came out with two crates full of what seemed to be filled with food and other canines, he looked to Sniper, who didn't look towards Scout's way. He knew he was pissed. Personally, Sniper didn't enjoy company either.
"We 'bout ready, koala?" Scout huffed, rubbing his bare arms.
"There's a jacket on the passenger seat," Sniper mused, "yer going to get hypothermia 'f you don't."
"Like I give a fuck."
Scout rubbed his arms again, this time, he saw goose bumps rise on his arms, Sniper tossed his jacket to Scout. He looked at it, then threw it to the ground.
"Smells like rat to me." Scout mentioned Spy.
Sniper rolled his eyes, then picked up his jacket and tossed it into the van. Then moving into the shed to get more supplies.
Scout looked out the scenery surrounding the duo, snow everywhere. Scout then glared out to empty space as he got more frustrated. Sniper looked at him through the corner of his eye, he then muttered wordless insults under his breath.
Scout then started to become impatient, his hands started to pat against his thighs. Sniper about snarled until the patting subsided with a few annoying sighs. Sniper looked over to Scout. His patients becoming very little.
"'Bout done?" Sniper asked bitterly.
"No," Scout spat.
Sniper then let a sigh of his own, then rustling around his driver seat, looking for a magazine scattered around the van.
Sniper shoved a magazine to Scout, who took it into his lap, looking through the pages, Sniper then huffed.
"Thought I told you, Larkin, to pack something."
"Ey! Ain't my fault you gave me, like, three minutes to pack." Scout flipped though some of the pages and found it to be rather… exotic.
"Snipes, this yours right?"
"Yeah, why?"
Sniper turned to see it was his latest Playboy magazines. He quickly snatched the magazine out of the boy's hands, Scout was laughing his ass off.
"Snipes, you are so desperate!"
Sniper then proceeded to backhand the boy in the skull.
