The walk to Hell was pernicious, full of venom like a viper's bated breath. Half a hundred years had since passed and in the time where wars slept, Magvel was joyful. A hundred years had passed since the last plague and in the time where Black Death lay dormant, Magvel was healthy. More than half a millennium had passed since Grado slew the Demon King. An era of light soon followed.
In the year 747 and the Sixth Great War ends. The soldiers leave their trenches. Mages tear down their towers to build towns and farmers till the trenches till the scars upon the land are no more than an ill begotten memory. Warrior King Joseph overthrows Lich King Rhone and instills Marseille the Usurper, Rhone's nephew and a ward in Joseph's court, on the throne. The people are happy and open the gates. Joseph does not lay siege to the Ishtar Gates because he knows it is impossible. As he steps into the Hanging Gardens, he cuts down the bodies and pours Holy Water in the streets. Behind him, his men carry a palate bearing the dust that was once the Lich King. The Sacred Stone and Fire Emblem still scintillate in its center. He gives it burial and the stones back to its eternal resting place and the people never speak of it again. Joseph and Marseille swear that their countries will never quarrel again.
During the year 755, reconstruction ends and King Joseph takes Raustenian born Princess Leto, daughter of King Hippocrates, as his queen. He has a son named Fado.
During the year 758, reclamation ends and Emperor Marseille takes Frelian born Princess Palmyra, daughter of King Odainat, as his queen. He has a son named Vigarde.
The year 783 brings Prince Fado's marriage to Jehannite Lady Erina. Their marriage produces a son: Ephraim, and a daughter: Eirika. He is flame and she is thunder.
The year 784 brings King Vigarde's marriage to an apothecary girl named Lyanna. Their marriage produces a son: Lyon. He is wind.
786 makes King Vigarde a widower. Lyanna's death produces a daughter: Llynia. Llynia does not breathe. She is water. She is drowning. In a moment of desperation, Vigarde goes to the Catacombs and digs up Lich King Rhone's dust. The Sacred Stones are still there. When he puts the white stone into her ruddy hands, she breathes.
