Cynthia blinked herself awake, her eyes coming to a rest on the man beside her. He was still asleep, his soft eyelids resting lightly over his beautiful, beautiful eyes. She smiled. Sometimes, even now, she couldn't quite believe he was there with her, for her, wanting her.

She stretched up a hand and softly brushed his blonde hair. She then rubbed her hands gently along his strong cheekbone. She had never seen a more beautiful face in her life.

His eyes opened a crack, and she passed her forefinger slowly down the side of his face to his mouth, where he kissed it and opened his eyes further.

"What time is it?" He whispered sleepily, taking her hand in his and entwining their fingers.

She raised her head in order to see outside, there was an orange line in the distance.

"About five my hero," she muttered humorously, settling her head back on the pillow, "I've got about an hour."

"I still can't believe she's making you go in for seven, not even someone of my legendary status can handle that after such a long night." He shifted closer, nuzzling his nose against her cheek.

"Well it is an important day you know, my mother only marries once right?" murmured Cynthia.

He chuckled into her neck, "That is true, not like we can expect us to make this big of a deal when it is ours in the future, don't you think?"

"Not quite, I want it to be very special Owain" She pressed a kiss onto the top of his head.

He twisted around and propped himself up on his elbows, so his face was hovering above hers. They shared a kiss.

"Do you want to get some sleep before you have to get up, or…?" His eyes darted down to her lips and back up again.

She smiled and brushed his cheek with her hand.

"I couldn't go back to sleep now, even if I wanted to, not when someone as beautiful as you is wide awake."
