Okay so I didn't really like Alpha and Omega 2, but I think that this is what should have happened.

"Runt! Runt!" Kate said in a harsh whisper. The young wolf pup, the smallest of his family, turned to see his own mother motioning for him to escape with her. But the question is, why would he even want to?

Back in Jasper he was rejected by many other wolves, put down by his own siblings, and quite often ignored by his own parents. Who would want to go back to a life-like that?

But the real reason he wanted to stay was because of her- The one the others they had called "princess". She could be harsh at times, but what she was really doing is, saving him. To Runt, she seemed a lot more like a mother figure, and in that time of his life, that's what he truly needed.

Though the two different packs of wolves were now known as enemies, maybe he could help them out, they looked like they needed it.

But now it was time. Humphrey's distractions were about to be over. It was time for Runt to make a decision.

"I-I'm not- I'm not going anywhere." He finally said.

"What are you talking about?" Kate asked sounding very surprised.

"I don't want to go home."

"Why not?"

Runt just stared at the ground, not knowing what to say.

"Runt, I am your mother and you are going to do what I say. This instant! Now lets go!" She yelled almost loud enough for the others to hear, but luckily no attention was drawn to them.

But Runt, as if choking on his own thoughts didn't say one word, he just simply shook his head, almost on the verge of tears forming in his own eyes.

"What is it? What's the problem? What's your problem? Are you scared or something?" She asked sternly.

So many questions all at once, he couldn't handle it. So he simply shook his head once again and took a few steps back.

"What's wrong with-" she started, but was cut off by her thoughts, finally understanding. Understanding him. Understanding how he felt. It wasn't about her. It wasn't about Humphrey. It wasn't about Claudette or Stinky. It wasn't even about the entire pack.

It was about him. Her young pup Runt.

"Oh." Was all she could manage to say, tears forming in her eyes as well.

"Honey I'm so sorry, I-" Kate tried to continue but started sobbing. She couldn't believe it, she couldn't believe herself. What kind of mother was she? It was like all of Runt's thoughts had been dumped right on top of her in one spit second, and she really just couldn't handle it.

"I love you so much, can you please forgive me?" She asked will pure sincerity in her voice. Runt, will full confidence in his voice, looked up at his mother and said "I love you too mom, and I forgive you."

Kate smiled started walking close to him. "But I can't go back to Jasper with you." He continued. "And you know why." He concluded.

"So." She started. "Who is it then?" Runt pointed out the only female next to the Rouge wolves.

"She needs my help, and I need her."

"You wanna stay with her for a while?"

Runt nodded with a weak smile showing on his furry face. Kate did the same, holding back tears. Though she had to say one more thing.

"Swear to me." She started. "Swear to me that you will always know that I am your mother."

Runt looked at the ground for a moment, then back at her.

"I swear." He replied.

Kate stared at him for a moment, for it would probably be the last time seeing him. Once again with tears in her eyes, she ended emotional farewell

"Okay."

Yeah so, kind of sad, but tell me what you think in reviews. Did you like the original ending better? This one? Or do you have your own idea of a better ending? Please tell me in a review, I'd love to know! :)
