"Oh Felix~!"
Oh great.
Felix firmly kept his eyes on his book as arms hugged him. "Hello Bridgette." he commented. The French Chinese girl giggled, not noticing Marinette look up from her sketchbook across the park. Her eye twitched.
"I missed you so much!" she squealed, hugging him tighter. "Did you miss me?"
Irritation welled up in her. Bridgette was been a transfer student from Nice who had started crushing on Felix at first sight. She always chased after him, even after he said no. It was like she had no clue how uncomfortable she made him.
"I saw you two hours ago."
"But it's been a long two hours." she groaned, fingers gently stroking his wrist. Burying her nose in his hair, she took a deep whiff. Even from across the park, Marinette could see Felix stiffen.
That was it.
She set her sketchbook down next to her bag. Tikki peeked out as Marinette stalked across the grass, heading towards her best friend and his stalker.
Bridgette yelped when Marinette grabbed her collar and yanked her away. "Hey Bri." she said casually, releasing her collar and swinging an arm across her shoulders. "How about you and I have a little chat?"
Despite the other girl's protests, Marinette led her away. Felix watched, not noticing Nino and Alya walk up. "What's Mari doing?" The redhead wondered.
"I don't know, but I would like to watch." The blonde said, standing up and grabbing his bag. The three trailed after the two girls, hurrying when they lost sight.
But they heard the scream of "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"
When they saw the scene, the trio stared. Marinette stood next to a fountain, glaring down at Bridgette. The other girl sat in the water, soaking wet. Her face was flushed with anger as she glared at the girl who had ducked her in. "What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you!?" Mari yelled. "Felix has told you time and time again that he isn't interested! But you keep pushing and pushing! Can't you see how uncomfortable you make him?"
The other girl glared at her before yanking herself out of the water. Squishing past, Bridgette blew Felix a kiss before disappearing.
Marinette watched her, eyes narrowed. She seemed to snap out of it when the subject of her frustrations disappeared, cheeks flushing in embarrassment. "I can't believe I just did that."
"But you did." Alya said, giving her an arm hug. "Now, you just need to do that to Chloe..."
Marinette tuned her out when she made eye contact with Felix. He nodded his thanks, eyes pleased.
And that was enough.
