As Jack stood naked under the waterfall, he let the water from the waterfall cascade over his body as a wall of water. As he stood there in the sparkling wet water, he thought about Kate. Kate! Oh, Kate. So beautiful and wonderful and beautiful. Jack was suddenly overcome with emotion and began to cry profusely, his watery tears adding to the waterfall's water. Jack stood there, bearing all to the world, his weak and fragile emotions and his deep and unending love for the woman he loved.
Suddenly, a sweaty Hurley covered in sweaty salty sweat-water walked up. Hurley felt concern for his doctor friend.
"Dude, you're like, all like, naked and like stuff, dude."
Jack's only reply was a strangled sob.
"Dude are you like crying? That is like a bummer dude man a bummer dude."
Jack collapsed on the rocks under the waterfall, now sobbing uncontrollably. How could Hurley understand his pain? He figured it would be best not to speak. Maybe Hurley would just exit and leave him to his pain.
"Dude why are you doing that that man."
Jack writhed around in the water wailing.
"Dude, I want to help you but first you have to help yourself. Dude this is awkward I am gonna go eat some like Dharma like ranch dressing dude."
Hurley left.
Jack laid there in the water, sobbing quietly and wondering where Kate was. Suddenly, he heard a branch snap in the distance and looked up.
Ethan was standing a few feet away from Jack, a threatening expression painted on his Herculean features.
