Kurt smiled. He'd never thought this moment would come. Not for him. He never expected this. But here he was, and the words were being spoken;

"And do you, Kurt Hummel, take Blaine Anderson to be your lawfully wedded spouse?"

It wasn't even a question. He stood at the 'alter', the guests seated in rows behind them. They'd walked down the aisle together, both of them in matching tuxedos with roses in the lapel. The day was bright, the air clear and sweet smelling, and Kurt Hummel was happy.

Happiness was something that until he met Blaine was pretty hard to come by. But every moment spent with Blaine was pure bliss; from the insignificant little things they did every day, to the important milestones in their relationship.

When they'd first met, on that staircase in Dalton.

Their first kiss.

The time when they told Burt that they were together, and he'd threatened Blaine with his shotgun, before laughing and telling them that it was 'About time'.

When Blaine told Kurt he loved him over coffee.

When Blaine had transferred to McKinley, because he couldn't stand to be away from Kurt.

When they went all the way for the first time one night, because it seemed the natural thing to do. And it had been.

The time when they had their first big fight, and they'd broken up for a day, but got back together because they couldn't stand to be apart from each other.

On the last day, when Kurt graduated McKinley, and went off to NYADA with Rachel.

When Blaine joined them, a year later, after turning down a scholarship to go somewhere else to be with his boyfriend.

How when Kurt made it to Broadway, Blaine cried with happiness for his boyfriend.

The time when they finally got a house of their own, away from Rachel. Just them together. Although Rachel had moved in next door.

A year later, when Kurt had gotten down on one knee, only to find out that Blaine had been planning to do the same thing for weeks but hadn't had the courage.

Today.

"I do."
