The race of men has fallen so low. Their glory was once great, but all of it is now gone...lost eternally with the shades of the past. I remember the glory of Gondor and of Rohan. I remember still those who brought about the beginning of such great kingdoms. Of Elessar, I remember still as well. Of the elfstone and the evenstar, I will honor their memory for ever. From noble warriors and brave shield-maidens who would gladly give up their lives for their peoples, the race of men has sunken so low. What glory they once had is now lost, never to be regained. The children of Eru were once great, all of them were. Now? Now even I have trouble believing they were once great at all. They fell, long and hard. They are still falling. What was once beautiful and forever pleasing has been forsaken for momentary pleasure. They are condemning themselves, slowly but surely. I wish to change this, but that would take thousands. I am but one, armed only with a wish for things to be the way they once were. The glory of Arda restored to it's former beauty. Few men realize how low their race has sunk. There are too few to make a difference. Far too few. The glory of men - of Middle Earth - will never be restored. It is far too late. None remember. Most do not care to remember either. Fools. Their ignorance will destroy them one day.
