Authors note: This is my first story. Please be kind. Hope you all like it. :)

This is my version of the continuation of episode 1 of the 6th season how Morgan feels after Garcia tells him she'll leave a light on for him...

"Damn it." Morgan says to himself. For years their relationship has been about innuendo and witty banter. It's been like a staple to him, what's kept him going. The job is tough. The images they have to see day after day. The victims and victim's families they have to confront and deal with, not to mention the depraved unsubs. His relationship with Garcia is like a breath of fresh air from the suffocating reality of this job.

But today... something about today feels different. He's feeling more annoyed with Garcia than he has even been and that's bothering him. Maybe its the reason behind his annoyance that's really bothering him the most. Today he feels she's being a tease. Well lets face it, she's always a tease, but today he doesn't feel like playing. His emotions are raw and on edge and he doesn't want to be toyed with. He wants real talk and real action. "Leave a light on" he repeats to himself. Today he really wishes it were true. He wishes Kevin weren't around, and she were alone and waiting for him when he got back.

No. Today he wanted something more than a comforting friend who says all the right things. He wanted a real live woman to be there with him, soothing him, holding him, making him feel like everything is going to be right with the world.

No, today he wanted Penelope the woman, not Garcia his friend.
