I just realized I haven't written any good Who! angst in forever! So, here's my comeback from the long hiatus I had taken to relish in all the Glee Goodness:) Just a quick Rose/Ten drabble angst fic. Nothing out of the ordinary.

My inspiration was brought back from re-watching seduff's "My Immortal Love" video on YouTube. IT IS A MUST SEE!

Disclaimer: I own nothing.

Dark. She brought goodness and light back into his life. She was the sparkle in the shadows. She made him forget, for awhile, about all of it; the Time War, the loss of his people; the genocide he committed; the countless number of companions and friends he had left behind… or lost. Alone, whilst he stood in the TARDIS, making calculations on his screen and running figures and numbers, drew the dark even closer. The dark hugged him and nearly suffocated him. Even the sooth humming of the TARDIS engine did not cease his troubles.

He had left her, of course, on his own accord in the parallel world. She had to. But not until she was gone, did he realize the effect she had on him. He had taken her on trips to different planets and different times, whilst all the while she had saved his sanity. She thought he was her Savior, but she was indeed his.

At night, he lied in bed. Those math figures and statistics pulsing through his mind as he tried thinking and wondering if he could ever get her back. The light, it seemed, had disappeared entirely from his life, and instead, he was being drawn in a black hole. Or creating one. When stars die and eventually burn out, they become black holes, sucking in the light and goodness around them.

He, the Doctor would see his star again. For she was brighter than all the stars in the sky. None could be as bright and beautiful as her. Even if it were just for a second, he'd see her face again. That's when; the numbers and statistics popped into his head once more and made sense. He jumped out of bed and rushed to the screen and grinned madly, for there was a tiny supernova in the corner of the universe. A tiny, last gap in the universe before the parallel worlds closed completely.

The Doctor put on his glasses, and with an, "Oh Yes!" began to work.

It's not my best, but its still good! :) Please comment and reviewers get bananas!
