Tonight we're taking over, no one's getting out

As Caroline stood there, emotionless, a smirk made her way on to her face. In front of her was a small gathering of humans, who had tried to kill her once they had found out her vampire nature, tied to the wooden beams of the dark building. Klaus turned his head to the side and leered at the golden haired beauty with dark, dark eyes holding his lighter. The stench of gasoline filled the warehouse, the liquid spilt on the people and the wooden floors of the old building. There was no reason for these humans to be killed, they knew of vampires but they could easily be compelled. The fact that they had tried to kill Caroline made it their business and she was the one who suggested to light them up in flames. Klaus had argued at first, they deserved a slower, more painful death for hurting his girl. Caroline had scoffed at the use of "his girl".

Now what? What? We're taking control

We get what we want

We do what you don't

"Listen Klaus, I'm not "yours". The only reason I'm with you is because you're a 1000 year old hybrid with power that I can use."

We're pretty and sick

We're young and we're bored

It's time to lose your mind and let the crazy out

This didn't bother Klaus like it once had, she had had plenty of opportunities to leave him but she always came back. He knew she didn't love him, but he didn't believe in love. What they had was better than love.

This place's about to blow-oh-oh-oh!

Blow-oh-oh-oh

As Klaus wrapped his arm around her shoulders, Caroline perched on 6 inch heels, walked back to their car. She looked up at Klaus and smirked as she threw the lighter over her shoulder. As they looked back in the rear-view mirror of Klaus's black Maserati, they watched the building go up in flames, along with the screams of the burning humans.
