Introduction to Pokemon Habitats and the Willingness to Survive

Written by Professor Henry Birch, PhD.

The Hoenn region is often overlooked as just a simply island with nothing but a large volcano and several other islands surrounding it. Mostly ocean. While these things are present, it is an unfair view on the amazing region. This biome contains some of the most suitable habitats for Pokemon to not only survive but thrive in the air and sea and land. There's so many different pokemon here and even familiar pokemon with different forms. A good friend of mine, Steven Stone, has spent a great deal of time searching for rare stones and precious gems. So when it was discovered that Mega Stones are found all over the Hoenn region, he immediately began researching Mega Evolution and a new ability known as Primal Reversion. He will be sure to give me a hand throughout this extensive guide. This guide will continue where the last two left off and give you much more incite on Pokemon species survival by now displaying an endangered species warning for certain pokemon. The first entry will be a detailed list of the previous pokemon's endangered status and what we can do to help that.

Below you will find a layout of a sample entry that will be used throughout the guide to help outline bits of information for you. I hope that this book will assist you greatly.

Common Name of Creature: (Each pokemon have a name we refer to it as and it will be presented here)

Latin Name of the Species: (The scientific name of the pokemon will be presented here)

Origin of the Species Name: (This is how the original name came about)

Conservation Status: (This will give you a fairly decent idea of how the pokemon is thriving in the wild and how we are helping or hindering it)

Morphology: (Different forms of pokemon are something that we continue to notice over the years and they will be presented here)

Evolution and Species Survival: (My research deals with pokemon's willingness to survive and their habitats help enable that. That information will be presented here)

Biology: (Each pokemon has their own abilities and powers. These amazing creatures can do incredible things. Those things will be explored here.)

Taxonomy: (Pokemon are continuing to be discovered and I intend to share the amazing people who help discover the Hoenn's best and brightest.)

Habitat: (The Hoenn region is a habitat that supports a vast variety of life and that is vital to the pokemon and the survival.)

Behavior: (Pokemon behavior is fascinating and terrifying all at the same time. I will share different ways to observe their behavior and what to watch out for.)

Predicting the Future: (Some species vanish but others arise, this category will explain if certain species will continue to thrive or will be replaced by stronger species in the Hoenn region)

Reproduction: (This category deals with pokemon mating and the habitats and nests of some pokemon.)

History: (Hoenn has such a vast and extensive history full of stories that will entertain. Each pokemon has some sort of history and all of it is true.)

Danger Factor: (Having been in the field with my assistant and progeny, I can assure you that we both have stories to tell and from our stories the dangers of being a Pokemon researcher are brought forth.)

Well, that about does it for me here. Be sure to keep a record of your findings and keep a look out. Hoenn is a vast region filled with many legends and secrets. Perhaps you will uncover them in your travels and perhaps this book will assist you.
