To Cry
Dear Diary,
I couldn't believe I felt this way, I just couldn't. How could I! He's my step-brother for crying out loud. It all started about a week ago, well actually much longer but the major events started a week ago.
You see I was changing and Derek, being his usual uncaring self barged straight into my room when I had just taken off my bra! He stood there stunned for a minute and then stormed out not even bothering to close to the door. I had trouble looking him in the eye for about two days and then...oi I don't even want to get into it.
And guess what he did yesterday! The stupid jerk kissed me! I haven't been downstairs since then, urgh someone's at the door.
CaseyCasey opened the door and looked up to see a tall male leaning on her doorframe, her face immediately iced over as she slammed the door in his face.
"Come on Casey, let me in." Derek said, slightly annoyed.
"No! Now will you please go away!" Casey yelled at Derek leaning against the door.
Derek sighed and pushed the door open, Casey tried to push back but failed and now Derek was inside her room.
"Everyone else went out for the weekend and Nora told me to try to cheer you up." Derek said when he got the door open.
Casey stood up and glared at Derek, "You're the last person who could cheer me up! I still can't believe you did that Derek!"
"Did what?" Derek asked sarcastically, clearly not happy, "Kissed you? Will you just admit it happened!"
"Not until you tell me why!"
"And why would I do that?"
"Because it's not…I mean…we're step-siblings! It's wrong! Not that you would know what that means!" Casey crossed over to the other side of her room but continued to glare at Derek.
"Of course I know what wrong means, and believe me it's not, we aren't related by anything other than marriage."
"So? It still seems wrong. Now will you please leave my room?"
"Fine," Derek replied as he shrugged his shoulders, "But you really should eat something."
Turning around Derek slammed the door on the way out and Casey flopped on her bed and sighed heavily, pulling her diary out from underneath her pillow she started to write again.
